     Get lost in Spring   Enjoying an afternoon taste of @purebonebroth with some parsley, pepper, and chipotle powder on top. Connor makes his #bonebroth using #grassfed bones and #organic veggies. Bone Broth or Stock is a traditional food, part of many cultures. It has caught on as a modern food trend, but really, it's ancient nutrition. Using all the parts of an animal is the best way to be environmentally friendly, respectful, and grateful to this earth when consuming animal products. #ZeroWaste is achieved by using the bones/carcasses, harnessing their nutrients, nourishing our body, then returning those nutrients to the soul. Broths & Stocks are great for a variety of ailments and for preventative health, containing nutrients such as #collagen, #vitamins, #aminoacids, #glycine, #proline, #glutamine, #minerals such as #magnesium, #calcium, and much more. Gut health, digestion, inflammation, skin health, joint health, immune health, metabolism and brain health are some of the areas broth & stock help protect and repair. Winter hasn't got you beat, has it?  and we all float on  When I need to slow down, I take a #bath. I create a beautiful space to unwind in, quiet, low light, #aromatherapy and most likely something delicious. This #MomentOfZen featured some @sajewellness #candles, a #HimilayanSalt rock, homemade #charcoal #soap (made at @karmasuds), #orange & #chamomile #bathsalts, a #TurmericLatte and #SigurRos for some #music #meditation. I also have a name for this - #JoyBundling. Joy Bundling is when you purposefully create space to do a few things that bring you joy at the same time. It's #Mindfulness and #SelfCare in purposeful action. It's not about a "reward" for completing a task you didn't want to do, it's simply honouring yourself and the pleasures you have in life. Joy Bundles can be very simple, and do not require justification or explanation. They are for you, by you. Another favourite is going for a walk with a great podcast, checking out gardens in the hood. The difference between enjoying a Netflix and Chill sesh and a Joy Bundle is the intent behind it. Put some intention into some #selflove rituals, and see if you end up with a Joy Bundle. Do you practice #JoyBundling? @joybundling
     Set time for #purposefulpleasure. A lazy Sunday #potluck #brunch with some great #friends is a lovely way to catch up and connect. Add in a little hit of facilitated conversation to open up #dialogue & perspectives. Challenge your friends, to see how they may have changed/grown. It's easy to have an easy friendship, but how well do you really know them? How often have you been in very diverse situations with them, to see the different sides of their personality? Or do you find you do the same things with the same people? At our #ladiesbrunch, we all came prepared with the results of the #Ennegram personality test. This was a great way to focus on one person at a time, and hear about their personality type within a contained framework. Looking at "it" as one piece, instead of broken up (as we see it in real life), was really insightful, and gave us the opportunity to disagree with certain traits (which friends could also disagree on), share experiences around those traits, share what they learned/what surprised them, what they may be consciously working on, and more. Test results are very much Barnum Statements, like a horoscope - the "meaning" can be applied to almost anyone at some point in time, they have no fixed outcomes/end dates and are usually very vague. This activity was not to put anyone in a box, but if the results resonated with them, it was the chance to have authentic discussion, especially about areas that are hard to give voice to. The "results" not being written by you remove the burden of you having to say things directly - you have some protective distance from it, which for some is very much needed. It's also a great way to practice your listening skills, and to be present with each other. Give it a try - go in with an open mind & heart - you never know what you'll find out! Nothing special done, just collecting by buying groceries. #FoodSecurity is increasingly challenging with the rise of food prices, drought/flooding, soil health declining, lack of farmers, lack of biodiversity, political forces and more, so when you get $90 off, you do a happy dance.
